Iowaville & Selma
In the northwest corner of the county, these communities are rich in Indian lore and history. A mighty battle was fought there, when a combined Sac and Fox war party attacked the peaceful Iowans. Both Blackhawk and Keokuk spent time in the area, and Blackhawk was originally buried near Iowaville. A restored log cabin stands in the Selma Park.

Selma Jam - Old fashioned bluegrass and country western jam. Bring your instrument and join in. Potluck dinner at noon, Jam session at 1pm. Held monthly at the Douds Community Center. See events calendar for details.
