Villages Folk School - Beginning Crocheting
|Date:||Dec 10th, 2016 - Dec 10th, 2016 |
|Time:||9:00am - 3:00pm |
In the early nineteenth century, crochet became a thriving cottage industry around the world. Women, and sometimes children, would stay at home and create things such as clothes and blankets to make money. Students in our Beginning Crocheting class will learn the basic crocheting stitches: chain, single crochet and double crochet. If we master those we learn some other stitches: half double crochet, triple crochet and will look at some simple patterns and practice reading patterns.
Class Fee: $55 per student
