Countywide Festival with numerous events and activities planned in most of the Villages. Featuring arts and crafts vendors, antique vendors, art shows, music, garage sales, kid's entertainment, parade, car and motorcycle show, food, and more activities throughout the Villages.
Ranch Horse Show Series - The finals of the 2018 series. You won't want to miss this final competition and awards. Jackpot sorting, roping, barrel racing, extreme trail course competition, wine tasting, dance, food concessions, and more. Camping available on grounds.
The Villages Folk School specializes in providing learning experiences in traditional arts and skills, while drawing upon the uniqueness of each of the eleven historic Villages of Van Buren County Iowa. Classes are held in peaceful rural settings so students can return to a simpler time and witness the importance of the artisan in village-life. Pre-registration is required for classes.
Mike Burggeraaf will give a brief history on the pottery industry in southeast Iowa prior to 1910. Stoneware examples from the towns of Bonaparte, Lowell, Parish, Pleasant Ridge and Vernon will be on display.

Join the fun at the Howl-O-Ween parade in Bentonsport at 11am. Prizes will be given for the best owner and dog costume in the shelter house. Free will donation lunch will be served at the shelter house after the awards.
Trick or Treating for children will be from 12:30-1:30pm at the Bentonsport shops.
Registration and lineup will be at Paddle, Pedal and More, 21903 Hawk Dr. Bentonsport. Please have child's/your costume and dogs costume ready and to go by 10:55am. The Howl-O-Ween Parade will start at 11:00am.
