A variety of vendors will be set up in the Bonaparte Mercantile Parking Lot. City-Wide Yard Sales throughout the weekend. And the Bonaparte Alumni Banquet will be held as well. City-wide yard sales throughout the town.
Join the Villages Folk School and their many talented artists at their Annual Memorial Day Weekend BBQ! Enjoy Bailey's BBQ Brisket or Pulled Pork and their custom sauces, along with homemade salads and cookies. There will be a Plein Air Quick Paint Contest through the Van Buren County Arts Council. Participants must register in advance for the outdoor painting contest. Several local artisan-made items will be auctioned off throughout the evening. Bring your lawn chair and join the fun under the BIG TENT near the Keosauqua Bridge!
Friday night All You Can Eat Buffet. Serving Fried Fish with all of the fixins' tonight. Soft drink included. Cash bar available!

Bentonsport Historic District will be haveing its annual Spring Flea Market and Craft Show during the Memorial weekend. A variety of vendors set up along Riverside Park. Music with John Boyer, Amish Fried Pies & Ice Cream. Food vendors on-site and artist demos throughout the weekend. The Mason House Inn will be selling fudge, crafts and Usborne Books. Bentonsport Quilt company, Paddle, Historic Greef General Store and Pedal & More will be open. Indian Artifact Museum will offer free museum tours.

All proceeds donated to the Ferguson Sports Complex. The bands are INQUIRE WITHIN 11am, WILD WILD WEST 12pm, Steve & Michaela from- Jefferson County Green Band 2pm, Van & the Movers 4pm, The Boys 6pm, and MATERIAL GIRL 8pm.

Douds American Legion and Auxiliary Memorial day Service. Potluck dinner at 6:00. Memorial Day Service begins at 7:00pm followed by the traditional walk to the Des Moines River bridge.
The Keosauqua Farmers Market will have various vendors and even entertainment at times. The market will be held each Tuesday from 4:00--6:00 PM beginning May 16th through October. Watch for further details.
