The Villages Folk School specializes in providing learning experiences in traditional arts and skills, while drawing upon the uniqueness of each of the eleven historic Villages of Van Buren County Iowa. Classes are held in peaceful rural settings so students can return to a simpler time and witness the importance of the artisan in village-life. Pre-registration is required for classes.

Douds American Legion Auxiliary will also host a big Garage Sale featuring everything except clothing. Free will offering for all items. Proceeds benefit Veterans in need. It will be behind the house directly across the highway from the Kwik Shop
Fresh produce, homemade crafts, baked goods, plants, flowers, jams, etc. The market will be held every Saturday from 10am-1pm.
Dinner served (on-site) at 5:30pm with meat and drinks provided, along with homemade ice cream. Bring a covered dish to share and your lawn chair. Enjoy a day of great music, fun, and fellowship at no charge, no donation

Join Cedar Valley Winery as they celebrate 9 years of winemaking and valued customers.The fun begins at 5pm with BBQ vendor Sweet & Saucy selling delicious offerings and continues with an evening of entertainment, award-winning wines, wine slushies and more! Ranch Horse Show Series - The Third of the 2018 series. Jackpot sorting, roping, barrel racing, extreme trail course competition, wine tasting, dance, food concessions, and more. Camping available on grounds.
All you can eat Pancake and Sausage Breakfast served by the Keosauqua Lions. There is no admission fee for the Fly-in. The public is welcome to attend. Bring your lawn chair!

A self-guided tour will begin with registration at the Stone House. It will feature many unique restored historic homes, buildings, and gardens. The gardens range from large to small sized patches of brilliant flowers and vegetables. Tickets for the tour are $10 and will benefit the Bentonsport Improvement Association which maintains the historic Presbyterian Church and The Stone House.
