Villages of Van Buren have hosted hundreds of group travelers over the years.

We strive to make sure our guests leave us with fond memories about the wonderful day that they have just experienced in our Villages.

We try to make it as easy for you as possible with a "one call covers it all" policy.

Two new features that we've added exclusiveley for group tours of 30 guests or more include Millard's Turtle Farm and Wells' Organic Dairy. Your group will be fascinated to learn the "inside track" about these little known industries.

• NEW! The Great Outdoors  This itinerary features Millard's Turtle Farm, Lunch at River Valley Lodge and dinner at the county's most popular winery.        
• Town & Country 2-day Adventure takes in the best of our communities with a good mixture of country including several tours of historic barns.
• The Barn Tour is a favorite among all groups especially those with  "retired farmers" as members. 
• J-40 Farm Crawl Your group will love this “Crawl” along the HIstoric Hills Scenic Byway. You’ll stop and visit several Amish businesses, greenhouses, wineries, special artisan demonstrations, antique aircraft restoration and more!  Available Annually on the 4th Saturday of July. Upcoming dates: July 28, 2012, July 27, 2013          
  

  If you're on a tight budget...no worry you can still have a great day visiting our villages with a Day-Trip itinerary.  We also have a Holiday Itinerary that is available only on  the first weekend of December.

If you'd like to do more than one day, we can accommodate groups at Hotel Manning which is located along the Des Moines River in downtown Keosauqua or we have several quaint B&B's within minutes of each other that can also accommodate smaller groups.

Our restaurants are no strangers to hosting large groups for lunch & dinner! We have several meal options to fit every palette including  Village Cup & Cakes, Hotel Manning, 1st St. Grille, Bonaparte Retreat, Hel-Mart and Bridge Cafe & Supper Club in Farmington. We have 2 Amish families that will prepare meals for groups, as well as the group of ladies who love to cook from Cantril Grassroots!

We can cater meals to lovely facilities such as the Lodge at Lacey-Keosauqua State Park or the beautiful River Valley Lodge near Farmington.

Addie May Fudge Factory in Bonaparte offers specialty Lunch or Dinner Theaters to groups as well.

Are you up for some adventure?
Enjoy an leisurely afternoon exploring the trails in Shimek State Forest on horseback. An experienced equestrian guide will lead you through the forest as you enjoy nature at its best!
Canoe floats for any size of group can be arranged as well. Our outfitter will prepare the canoes at an access point of your choice and arrange for shuttle service back to your vehicle. There is nothing better than spending a lazy day on the water with family and friends!

Needing to relax?
A luxurious morning at the spa can be arranged for small groups of women &/or men! Massages, facials, manicures, pedicures and more will definetely be the highlight of your day! Enjoy a light lunch, spend the afternoon shopping and finish the perfect day with a perfect wine at Whispering Pines Winery.

Ladies- looking for a special day out?
Enjoy a morning exploring the fascinating Pearson House Museum with a knowledgable tour guide who will tell you all about the history of the Underground Railroad during the Civil War in Van Buren County. Enjoy a light luncheon and program on Vintage Jewelry at Addie May Fudge Factory and Old Mill Antiques located in the historic Woolen Mill in Bonaparte. Spend the afternoon in Cantril  browsing through the aisles of the ever-popular Dutchman's Store and end your day nibbling on samples of delectable gourmet cheese at the Milton Creamery.
