The Villages Folk School specializes in providing learning experiences in traditional arts and skills while drawing upon the uniqueness of each of the eleven historic Villages of Van Buren County Iowa. Classes are held in peaceful rural settings so students can return to a simpler time and witness the importance of the artisan in village-life. Pre-registration is required for classes.

A free will offering dinner will be served at 5:30pm.

Apr 16th » The Last Supper

The Van Buren County Cooperative Ministry is proud to present a living dramatization of Leonardo DaVinci’s "The Last Supper" -- an hour of drama by Ernest K. Emurian, with music and worship. 

The reenactment was first presented in 1971 in Keosauqua. Since then, it has been presented over 100 times in many locations throughout southeast Iowa and Missouri.

Free will offering will be taken. No admission fee.

Ranch Horse Show Series - The first of the 2019 series. Jackpot sorting, roping, barrel racing, extreme trail course competition, wine tasting, dance, food concessions, and more. Camping available on grounds.  

Special Weekend Event: Vet Clinic, Vaccination & Coggins with Dr. Bill. Also, both a farrier and an equine dentist will be onsite for your convenience.
