American Gothic 5K

8:00 am to 10:00 am

Registration begins at 7:15 AM in front of the American Gothic House Center. All ages are welcome but minors under the age of 16 must be supervised by an adult aged 18 or older. Route goes through Eldon, along the Des Moines River, through the park, and will end at the American Gothic House Center. Entry fee of $25 includes map, medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places per age group, and shirt. To guarantee shirt size and to be able to pick it up at the event, participants must preregister and all fees paid on or before May 22nd at 4:00 PM. Checks can be mailed but must be received at the Center by May 22nd. Late registrations and walk-ins are accepted but shirts will be ordered at the event to be picked up at a later date. Credit cards will be accepted through June 5th at the mycountyparks website otherwise bring a check or exact cash amount. Watch our Facebook page in the event of inclement weather. Rain date is set for June 8th. Go to the event website for the registration form, to register, and/or pay online with a credit card. Please note that a family can now all be on one form.
