Explore Van Buren County’s Historic Barns on the 2025 Fall All-State Barn Tour!

Three of Van Buren County’s cherished barns, the Cowen Farm Barn, Morris Park Museum, and Morris-Clark Barn, will be featured on the Iowa Barn Foundation’s 2025 Fall All-State Barn Tour!

This self-guided, statewide tour includes 103 unique stops and offers visitors a rare chance to step inside and explore some of Iowa’s most iconic and beautifully preserved barns—including three right here in Van Buren County, Iowa!

The tour is free and open to the public—making it a perfect weekend adventure for families, history buffs, and road-trippers of all ages. Pack a picnic, load up the car, and enjoy a multi-generational journey through Iowa’s rural heritage.

The tour is made possible thanks to the generosity of Iowa Barn Foundation members and donors, who also receive exclusive magazines filled with barn stories and tour maps.
