A day for grandparents, parents, and young people to step back in time and take part in the activities of pioneer settlers! Wear a costume or come as you are. Many ways to enjoy a fun day with family and friends!
Participate in printing, washboard laundry, wool spinning, hand quilting, fiber arts, and bread making.
Test your knowledge with a scavenger hunt and spelling bee.
Demonstrations of campfire cooking and making butter, thieves vinegar, and apple peeling. Take home heritage seeds to plant in your garden.
Tour the museum buildings of the Underground Railroad: Pearson House, Ellis one-room schoolhouse, and Moughler Log Cabin! You will hear stories of the way our ancestors lived day to day.
Beverages and baked goods will be available, there is no charge but donations for maintaining the buildings in appreciated.
