Des Moines River Valley of Serve Outdoors

Founded in 2008 in Van Buren County Iowa, Des Moines River Valley of Serve Outdoors creates life-changing opportunities for people with disabilities, veterans, youth, and the elderly to experience the beauty and adventure of the great outdoors through hunting and fishing.

With the support of dedicated local volunteers, participants are guided on unforgettable journeys, using specialized equipment such as accessible hunting blinds and adaptive fishing boats, ensuring everyone can safely and comfortably enjoy nature.

Serve Outdoors operates entirely through the generosity of donors, memorial contributions, and proceeds from its highly anticipated annual banquet and auction, held every third Saturday in January.
