Enjoy a St. Patty’s dinner at the Opera House. Serving: corned beef & cabbage, beef stew, corn bread, homemade desserts & drinks for a free-will offering.
Join the Van Buren County Historical Society for their 1st monthly dinner meeting of the year. Everyone is welcome to join! Reservations are needed by March 14th for a $10 home-cooked meal.
Don't miss the special program following dinner, "Dressing the Victorian Woman" by Becky Grier of Kalona. Mid-1800's portrayal of all the clothing worn to complete her ensemble.
Join the Keosauqua Lions for a free-will donation soup supper. Serving chili, potato soup, oyster soup and dessert. Auction starts at 6pm.
The Villages Folk School specializes in providing learning experiences in traditional arts and skills while drawing upon the uniqueness of each of the eleven historic Villages of Van Buren County Iowa. Classes are held in peaceful rural settings so students can return to a simpler time and witness the importance of the artisan in village-life. Pre-registration is required for classes.
Enjoy a full hot breakfast! Serving: scrambled eggs, biscuits and sausage gravy, sausage patty, dessert, juice and coffee for a free-will donation.

The Keosauqua Public Library and the Van Buren County Genealogical Society are hosting Iowa Author and speaker Linda McCann.
Linda will focus her presentation around POWs in Iowa. “Iowa had about 25,000 German, Italian, and Japanese prisoners of war in the state from 1943 to 1946. There were two main camp; Algona and Clarinda, and about 17 branch camps in the state. The branch camps were short-term work projects usually during the summer and fall, on a specific project. Waverly and Charles City had branch camps in the northeast. Muscatine, West Liberty, Clinton
There is no cost and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
Join the Keosauqua Public Library for their annual Spring Bake/Book Sale on Friday, March 29th, 12-5pm & Saturday, March 30th, 8am-12pm.
Get your used books & freshly baked delights for a free will offering!
Fundraiser to support the Keosauqua Chamber mini-grant program for business members. Everyone 21+ is invited! Teams of 4-8 encouraged for Trivia Game. There will be citizen of the year award, drink ticket, Italian dinner and auction. $25 per person.
