Classes are held in peaceful rural settings so students can return to a simpler time and witness the importance of the artisan in village-life. Pre-registration is required for classes.

Jun 15th » Fly Van BurenThis year's Fly-in Breakfast will have a special open house of the NEW Keosauqua Municipal Airport Hangar! Come check it out and enjoy All-You-Can-Eat Pancakes & Sausage served by the Keosauqua Lions. Pilots flying in, eat free! Ottumwa R/C Flyers will be performing amazing aerobatics with their remote-controlled aircraft, IHCC will be present with career opportunities in Aviation and Air Evac will be on display. Two airplane rides will be given away (to be scheduled at a later date) as door prizes. There will be prizes and kids games plus all kids ages 12 and under will receive a coupon for a FREE Ice Cream Cone at Misty's Malt Shop in Keosauqua! There is no admission fee for the Fly-in. The public is welcome to attend. Bring your lawn chair and join the fun!

Jun 15th » Van Buren County Museum CrawlJoin the Van Buren County Museum Crawl for a walk through our past with guided tours & demonstrations of pioneer life. NEW this year, the Pearson House Museum Complex in Keosauqua will have a display of vintage aprons which includes over 1,000 aprons of all shapes and sizes. Many will bring back memories of the aprons "just like grandma wore". Tour guides will be dressed in period clothing, you can tour the Pearson Family home, which was a safe house on the Underground Railroad. Cool drinks of switchel, mint tea & lemonade will be offered. Morris Park in Stockport will have a unique huckster wagon on display, mystery tool identification quiz...can you tell us what some of our tools were used for? See a rare bustle bench, clothing display and several free kids activities throughout the day. Visit all of the featured Museums in the Villages that will be open with FREE admission!
