The Dutchman's Store celebrates its Grand Opening with a special 39 Anniversary Sale.

Hours: Mon-Fri 8a-6p, Sat. 8a-5p, Closed Sunday.

Enjoy unlimited pancakes, sausages, juice, milk, and coffee. $10 per person and $5 for children 10 and under. 

Full Thanksgiving meal starting at 11am.
Serving: hot roast beef, ham balls, mashed potatoes and gravy, scalloped corn, coleslaw, pie of choice, and drinks for a freewill donation.

Join Chloe at Lake Sugema Wildlife Area to discover the moon and constellations in the night sky.

This trail is grass and dirt, proper hiking attire, and bug spray are recommended. We will meet at Lake Sugema Campground near the non-reservable sites.

Classes are held in a peaceful rural setting, so students can return to a simpler time and witness the importance of the artisan in village life.

Start your holiday shopping in the Villages of Van Buren County, Iowa!

Get ready for a jolly Christmas kickoff!

Dive into the holiday spirit with festive specials, refreshments, fun prizes, and a coloring contest. From 10 a.m. to noon, Santa will be stopping by for photos, so don't forget your camera! Plus, there will be activities to keep the kids entertained. Keep an eye out on their Facebook page for more updates!

The Birmingham Lions will serve chili, vegetable soup, potato soup, chicken noodle soup, and various other soups! Desserts and drinks are included. 

Free Wagon rides will be offered to see the Christmas lights around town starting at 5:30pm.

Spark your holiday shopping in Bonaparte!

Local businesses are open late until 6pm, the Opera House is buzzing with fun for all ages.

Bring your letters for Santa so Mrs. Claus can whisk them away to the North Pole! Kids can decorate cookies and a craft with her elves, while adults enjoy the Hot Cocoa Bar and Soup Supper (freewill donation for both). Don't miss the Girl Scout Troop #4089 Cookie Walk and wrap up the evening with the magical Community Christmas Tree Lighting at 6pm in the city park. Holiday fun for all!
